Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation

Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

FPBH, Inc. participated in numerous Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation projects for the City of North Vernon, which included innovative technological solutions such as pipe bursting & slip lining to solve inflow and infiltration, and structural problems.

Initial project stages included accurate mapping and field measurements of existing drainage basin systems, since prior maps had only been “stick” maps produced from employee memory. After areas of concern were identified, FPBH helped the City establish individual projects, then designed, advertised, assisted with letting, performed the construction inspection and record keeping.

Projects were funded through local methods, grants, bonding and loans.

Sanitary Sewer Expansion

Gravity Sewer Line

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

FPBH provided the design services for the South Henry Regional Waste District to expand their service territory to the Town of Mays in Northern Rush County when they requested connection due to failing septic systems.

The project was funded by USDA Rural Development and Build Indiana Grant.

The work included design of gravity sewers and lines in existing alleys and streets throughout the Town to a single pump station, and 4 miles of 6” force main along County Roads that connected to an existing 8” force main.

After design, FPBH assisted in obtaining permits from IDEM, INDOT, Rush County and Henry County, coordination with USDA representatives, project advertisement, letting, bid analysis and recommendation, all construction contract administration, and also provided full time construction inspection.
