In addition to our engineering staff, we have a certified bridge inspector on board with over 25 years of experience on bridge projects and county-wide bridge inspections. Underbridge inspection “Snooper”

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

FPBH, Inc. provided the engineering and inspection services for this in-depth structural inspection of the concrete open spandrel arch structure.

All inspections and reports are in compliance with the U.S. Department of Transportation- FHWA- National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and the Indiana Department of Transportation guidelines.

FPBH, Inc. utilized the services of a subcontractor, Intech Contracting, Inc., who provided the ‘Mark V’ underbridge inspection snooper truck equipped with a two-man bucket for access to the concrete open spandrel arches and underside of deck for an arms-length detailed inspection. Soundings of the deck and railing where also included in the inspection. A final report including recommendations for repairs and rehabilitation was prepared, followed by design plans for the structure rehabilitation.

All inspections and reports are in compliance with the U.S. Department of Transportation- FHWA- National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and the Indiana Department of Transportation guidelines.

FPBH, Inc. provided engineering and inspection services for the Routine Inspection, Fracture Critical Inspection, Underwater Inspection, Special Inspection, and Scour Assessment.
Additional planning, budgeting, and bridge management services were provided to the Commissioners.

FPBH, Inc. provided engineering and inspection services for the Routine Inspection, Fracture Critical Inspection, Underwater Inspection, Special Inspection, and Scour Assessment. Additional planning, budgeting, and bridge management services were provided to the Commissioners in the form of a “Five Year Improvement Plan”.
